Bhatkal (Fikrokhabar News): A spiritually uplifting Quran completion ceremony was held at Ali Public School and PU College on Thursday to mark the visit of Maulana Fazlur Rahim Mujaddidi, General Secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board.
On the occasion of Maulana Mujaddidi’s visit, special Program were organised for the completion of Hifz-e-Quran by Sulaim S/O Shaheer Rukanuddin, a second-year PU student of Ali Public College. He noted that when education began to drift away from its true purpose and started promoting ideological confusion and irreligious thinking, scholars had a responsibility to step in. Maulana Ilyas Nadwi said the aim of Ali Public School is not limited to providing modern education, but also to ensure strong religious, moral and intellectual development so that students grow into responsible, ethical and well-balanced individuals.
As the chief guest, Maulana Fazlur Rahim Mujaddidi spoke about the virtues of the Holy Quran and encouraged regular recitation and strong attachment to it. He also appreciated the Hifz programme run by Ali Public School and stressed the need to further strengthen and improve this system.
It was noted that the student completed his Quran memorisation alongside his regular school education under the guidance of his teacher, Maulana Abdul Munim Quazi Nadvi. So far, more than 35 students, both boys and girls, from Ali Public School & PU College have had the honour of completing Hifz-e-Quran.
The programme concluded with a collective prayer, attended by a large number of teachers, students and members of the institution’s management.
