Our Story: From Bhatkal to the World

Our journey began in 2011 in Bhatkal, Karnataka, India, when our founder and Editor-in-Chief, Moulana Hashim Nizam SM Nadwi, established Fikrokhabar.com. His vision was to create a powerful Urdu-language platform that empowers people with information that matters. Grounded in our local community, we grew into a respected news source known for its responsible journalism.

As our Urdu publication’s influence grew, so did the demand for our reporting from a broader, English-speaking audience. After initially serving this readership through a subsection of our main site, we recognized the need for a dedicated platform to deliver the quality and seamless experience our readers deserve.

On August 20, 2025, we proudly launched english.fikrokhabar.com, a new, independent home for our English journalism, connecting our local perspective to a global conversation.
