21st Century India Takes Bold, Fast Decisions and Delivers on Time: PM Modi
Speaking in Muscat, the Prime Minister highlighted India’s rapid progress, cultural pride, and strong ties with Oman.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that India in the 21st century is moving ahead with confidence by taking bold and swift decisions, setting ambitious goals, and delivering results within fixed timelines.
Addressing the Indian community in Muscat during his two-day visit to Oman, the Prime Minister said that today’s India is focused on action and outcomes. “Twenty-first century India takes bold and quick decisions, moves forward with big goals, and achieves results in a defined time frame,” he said.
PM Modi also welcomed UNESCO’s recent decision to include the festival of Deepavali (Diwali) in the List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Calling it a moment of pride for every Indian, he said the recognition reflects the global message of light, hope, harmony, and humanity that Diwali represents. “Our diya will now light up not just our homes, but the entire world,” he said.
Speaking at the ‘Maitiri Parv’ event, which was attended by Indian students and members of the Indian diaspora, the Prime Minister underlined the deep and historic relationship between India and Oman. He said the bond between the two nations is built not only on geography but also on generations of shared history and trust.
Highlighting India’s cultural diversity, Modi said that respect for different traditions is a core Indian value. He praised the Indian diaspora for being a living example of peaceful coexistence and cooperation abroad, calling them the true custodians of centuries-old ties between India and other nations.
In his message to young Indians, the Prime Minister encouraged them to think big and stay curious. “Dream big, learn deeply, and innovate boldly,” he said.
