13 Swimmers from Anjuman PU College Bhatkal Qualify for State Championship
Fourteen students competed at district level; state event set for October 29 in Bangalore
Thirteen students from Anjuman PU College, Bhatkal have secured their place in the State Level Swimming Championship after competing at the district competition held in Karwar.
A total of fourteen boys from the college participated in the District Level Swimming Competition, with thirteen successfully qualifying for the state rounds. The qualified swimmers include Abdurrahman HF, Sinan Shabuddin, Mohammed Nayeem, Syed Toufeeq, Zamaan Khalifa, Rawwan Shaikh, Wassam HF, Ibrahim Shammas Gawai, Mohammed Anfal, Mohammed Ruknuddin, Faiz SM, Rayyan Jubapu, and Shaffan RS.
The State Level Swimming Championship is scheduled to take place on October 29, 2025, at Basavanagudi in Bangalore.
Saqlain SM, Physical Director at Anjuman PU College, Bhatkal, has been appointed as the Swimming Manager for the Uttar Kannada Boys Team for the upcoming state championship. In this role, he will oversee the team’s preparations and coordination during the state-level event.
The college’s strong showing at the district level reflects the quality of sports training and opportunities available to students at the institution.
